Where are the Cabo Verde Islands?

Bob Barboza will lead a team of Kids Talk Radio journalist and Podcasters to the Cabo Verde Islands this summer. The islands are in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. You can think of it as Hawaii out in the Atlantic Ocean. Our goal is to set up two Kids Talk Radio Stations. We will place a radio station on the Islands of Brava and Fogo. Our student exchange program will allow for four students from the islands coming to the United Staes and two student from the US gping to the islands for two weeks. While we are on the islands we will broadcast live to PNN and Kids Talk Radio. Who wants to go?

Students will interview Cabo Verde musicians, government officials, teachers, writers, composers, scientists, storytellers, and much more.

Super School Science & Technology Field Trips

Super School's Kids Talk Radio has partnered with the ICEAXE Expeditions.

Bob Barboza, CEO of Kids Talk Radio Science, and Doug Stoup, CEO of the ICEAXE Expeditions are going on the ultimate science field trip. We are headed for the Antarctic Peninsula for 2009. You will Trex, Ski, Explore, and use tecnology to send the news back to your classmates in the classroom.

Dates: November 5th-November 17th.

This is the ultimate field trip for any middle or high school student

Daily shore landings, lectures, hands on project based learning, zodiac excusions, geography, history, biology, and politics of the Southernmost continent will be explored.

We offer a new learning project called "Kids Talk Radio Science". This project teaches you what it is like to become a science journalist and to broadcast the news back to your classroom.
