Youth World News in Japan

Bob Barboza  on special assignment in Japan.

I had two special assignments.  The first assignment was to cover the Toray Arrows Women's professional volleyball team.  This is the team that Cynthia Barboza from the USA National Volleyball Team is playing on.    Each team in Japan is allowed to carry one forign player. Cynthia's team is called the Toray Arrows and they are well known in Japan.  The team is sponsored by the Toray Chemical Company in Japan.  Other teams are sponsored by companies like NEC.

Our second assignment was to cover a story on "Monster Parents".  These parents are making life difficult for Japenese teachers. We will positng this story on PNN and Kids Talk Radio.
