Olympic Writing Contest

Summertime Olympic Story Writing Contest

We want your volleyball stories and other sports. We are celebrating the Olympic Spirit by telling and sharing stories.

It is getting very close to 08/08/08. This is the official date of the Opening Ceremonies for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.

There are many great Olympic Stories floating around and we want to hear them. Maybe you know someone that has a story that has never been told. We are willing to offer great prizes for your stories.

If you send us an audio file we can publish it. If you send us a text file we will publish it. If you would like to create a website we will provide you with all the tools you need and you can publish your site for free.

This writing contest is open to students in grades 3 through 8, and 9 through 12.

We support the Special Olympics. You can send your Special Olympic Story to Kid's Talk Radio and our special education teachers will help with any modifications and or accommodations that will help you to be successful. Everyone will have equal opportunities. You can share the pen with your teacher, instructional aide, friends or parents.

Contest Ends: August 29, 2008
