This page is open to Super Subs, school administrators, parents, teachers in general, students, and friends of Kid's Talk Radio! The Super Subs will be visiting school in Southern California. We wanted a page where we can share art, spoken work, written work, original music, and video.
We cannot contact students directly. So, don't include your e-mail addresses or any personal contact information. You should even use a pen name where possible. Our world has changed and we must protect or younger citizens. It is sad that it has come to this. We hope everyone understands. Students need to use first names and or pen names,

Kid's Talk Radio Super Sub Man Object No. 2

I first came up with this graphic idea when I was flying on the plane coming back from Mexico City.It was my intention to do a graphic that would reflect all of the art that I was inspired with in Mexico City.I want to capture the old world and the new world.
The original Kid's Talk Radio Super Subs consisted of 18 members. We are looking for a graphic that represents the idea of the Super Subs. Do you have any ideas that you would like to share with us?

Kid's Talk Radio Man Object No. 1
By Bob Barboza
I first came up with this graphic idea when I was sitting in my hotel room in Mexico City. I was racking my brain for a new graphic idea for Kid's Talk Radio. Now I want you to try. If we like your idea we will pay you!
To get things started I created two black and white art concepts. I wanted to create a graphic image that would represent Kid' Talk Radio and the Kid's Talk Radio Super Subs. Here they are. What do you think? Does it work? Does it inspire you to try a drawing or painting? We would love for you to share your work with the Kid's Talk Radio Super Subs Art Team.

Super Sub Comments
Dear Bob:I stopped by the day of the Super Subs, where several of my family members were involved, and found it to be an exciting and educational experience. I sat in the class taught be my brother in law Robert Wolin and his colleagues and found it to be fascinating. Robert was explaining and showing how a recording can be made. He played the guitar, he had a student singing and the all students seemed fascinated as they watched how it all came together to create a recording.
From what I could tell, from the comments made by the students and their demeanor, the students seemed to be genuinely interested in the various presentations by the Super Subs.
Also, they sure seemed to enjoy the concert.
Good luck with all you are doing for the young people of Southern California!
Best regards,
Rick Tuttle

On a sultry summer day, things are heating up inside a La Jolla Playhouse rehearsal space, standing in for the moment as a jumpin' Memphis juke joint named Delray's.
LOS ANGELES – The cloth ripples. You would swear it does. Call this the ultimate form of illusionism: making marble look as soft as cloth or as delicate as lace. The hair, the skin and the lips on Gian Lorenzo Bernini's portrait busts are just as logic-defying.
Next month's fifth annual Carlsbad Music Festival will extend from that North County coastal city down to San Diego and up to Los Angeles.
Two days after the closing of “Yank!” at Diversionary Theatre, Tom Zohar kneels by the theater's near-empty stage, gazing at a final costume piece he's come to retrieve – his well-used tap shoes.
